Indian Food Restaurants near Nana Plaza / Nana BTS Skytrain Station Bangkok - Soi 11

Saturday, November 16, 2013

Soi 11 is a very short walk from Nana Sky Train Station. Before getting down from the station, see the map on display or ask someone which side Soi 11 is so you don't have to cross the road after getting down. Soi 6, 8, 10 are one side of the road while 5,7,11 are on the other side. Well, before heading to Soi 11 for Indian food, one might want to try the Aryaa's Fast Food at Nana BTS Station itself. I got a full review of Aryaa's - Indian Pure Vegetarian Fast Food at Nana Sky Train Station here. If you happen to be close to Asoke BTS, "The Pavilion" - Indian Restaurant on Soi 18 could be a good place to visit. Soi 11 has three Indian restaurants - Khana Khazana, Dosa King, and Mrs. Balbir'sKhana Khazana Indian Vegetarian Restaurant is at the corner of Soi 11 or is it 11/1. There are two adjacent Soi's and I always confuse their numbers. But fortunately it doesn't matter. If I find one, I find the other too. Khana Khazana has a very large menu of Indian vegetarian food including both north Indian / south Indian dishes. They have a TV set playing Indian music/movies all the time. At lunch time, a veg thali is available. No hard drinks are served or allowed. So finish your can of beer before you enter. See a full review of Khana Khazana Indian Restaurant, Soi 11 here.

Mrs. Balbir's is another Indian restaurant on Soi 11. I have not dined there yet. On my next trip, I will try to taste their food so I can give a more information. Whatever be it, If you want Indian food near Nana, just head to Soi 11 (11/1, whatever).

I left my day job in October 2013 and became a full time blogger. I love travel and hence a travel blog was the obvious place to start from. The result is I currently live in Bengaluru, India. - Narinder Singh. (Email:
