Taste of India - Indian Food at Fisherman's Wharf Macau

Friday, October 11, 2013

Taste of India inside the Fisherman's Wharf Macau (Opposite Sands Casino) is the third and the newest Indian restaurant of the Taste of India chain in Macau, the other two being Taste of India-1 and Red Chili.  The food menu is exhaustive including veg and non-veg thali (110 and 230 HKD respectively) and buffet (140 HKD whenever a tour group is there).  Drinking water is free as in the other two restaurants under the same management. It looks like this restaurant is used often for serving buffet lunch/dinner to tour groups from India. There is a bar in the middle and dining area on either side. The restaurant also puts tables outside in the open for tour groups. Individual food items can be ordered even when there is a buffet. Prices of food here are comparable with other Taste of India group restaurants. Fisherman's Wharf has a theme park type of atmosphere. A huge casino (Sands) on one side and an open sea on the other makes this a unique location. There is a small casino inside Fisherman's Wharf too called Babylon or something like that. Really nice to have an Indian restaurant there. (See restaurant pictures below) Best Money Exchange in Macau (Link opens in new window)
