I went there for lunch but was planning to go to the nearby Paradise Sri Lankan Vegetarian Food Court later and hence ordered only a Chana Bhatura. The Bhatura was not as soft as it is supposed to be. The dough had not been fermented properly or not fermented at all. The accompanying chick peas curry was small in quantity and ordinary in taste. This was not authentic Indian food. And certainly expensive (See the menu picture below). I thought if Amrith wanted to charge premium pricing for food, they could at least try to cook it better. But I only tried one preparation. Maybe the rest of them taste better.

If one is interested in economy vegetarian Indian food, there is the cheaper and crowded Sri Vihar Indian Restaurant on Havelock Road not far from Amrith.
