If you are travelling along with kids, then this is one attraction in Hong Kong that you would not want to miss. And let it be clear at the outset that this is perhaps Hong Kong's most expensive attraction. A standard single day ticket price for an adult is HKD 499 and for a kid (3-11 years) is HKD 355. Two-Day discounted tickets are also available. You will find detailed pricing later in this page. Another thing, and take it seriously, visiting Hong Kong Disneyland for just one or two days is not going to be enough. Because so much goes on in this park that in one or two days you will miss more than what you will be able to see and do, which is why taking an annual membership of the park is highly recommended. In this page, I have given all the basic information that you need to have to plan a visit to Hong Kong Disneyland. Keep reading...

Hong Kong Disneyland: Park Location, Timings, and Travel Information
Hong Kong Disneyland Resort is located in the Lantau Island of Hong Kong. Disneyland Park is a part of this resort that has a few hotels too. The easiest access to the resort is via MTR's Sunny Bay Station that is connected to Hong Hong Disneyland Resort via a dedicated train service up to the Disneyland Resort Station. This station is at the doorstep of the park so getting there is a pretty simple affair.

From any MTR Station in Hong Kong, buy a single journey ticket up to Disneyland Resort Station that should cost around 28 HKD per person. It costs lesser with an Octopus Card so use a card if possible. Then find a train going towards MTR's Sunny Bay Station. When you alight at Sunny Bay Station, stay at the same platform and wait for the Disneyland train on the other side of the platform. You will not need to wait for long.

Other Facilities in the Resort
Wheelchair and Stroller Rental
Of course the guests can bring their own wheelchairs and strollers but these are available for rental too inside the park.
That means a guest with a disability will have to buy a ticket and come inside the park before a wheelchair can be rented for him/her. A funny rule this one. Anyway, once in the park, look for 'City Hall' on the 'Main Street USA'. Next to the City Hall is an 'Old Time Fire House'. Inside the fire house, wheel chair rental is available at a daily fee of 60 HKD (30 HKD for seniors). A refundable deposit of HKD 100 has to be given that will be refunded if the wheelchair is returned along with the rental ticket before the park closes for the day. The maximum allowed weight of the person on a rented wheelchair is 113 kg (250 pounds). Wheelchairs are available in a limited quantity on a first-come-first-served basis. No reservations for wheelchairs can be made.
Stroller For Kids
A stroller can be rented in the same Old Time Fire House at a daily fee of HKD 100. A refundable deposit of HKD 100 is required in addition to the fee that will be refunded if the stroller is returned along with the rental ticket before the park closes for the day. The maximum weight of the child seated on a rented stroller is 27 kg (60 pounds). Strollers are available in a limited quantity on a first-come-first-served basis. No reservations for strollers can be made.
ATM And Luggage Storage
Standard Chartered Bank ATMs are installed outside the park. Luggage storage facility is available too at HKD 90 per item.
Plan Your Visit Before You Get There
Spend a few hours on the Hong Kong Disneyland Website and decide in advance which areas and activities you are interested in. Get to the park early in the morning and try to make the most of your 1 or 2-Day visit. I know now you will wish that you lived in Hong Kong so that you could have bought an annual membership.
